Finding the brighter side of life

They say that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

Imagine our dismay when we first saw this unsightly hillside drainage that led right into our backyard. We soldiered on and decided to take our time to find inspiration to make things better.

One day, when we were sitting in the kitchen enjoying a hot cup of tea, comes a heavy downpour, and along with it, a beautiful illusion of an ‘accidental’ man-made waterfall.

Such was the inspiration that led us to build a small gazebo above it, forming a beautiful picture of a ‘garden waterfall’.

We’re planning to plant more flowers by the hillside in due time, and once flowers in the back garden flourishes, boy, it will be a wonderful sight to behold!
